When we saw your Model S129, no other lights would do for us, though they were higher than our budget had allowed. We ordered 2 to frame my Eastlake pier mirror. We all know the horror stories of remodeling. Mine ended here.

My two month search through every lighting store in driving distance and every Web page I could find, using every search engine I could think of, ended at the home page of Homelightingfixtures.com.

It looked too good to be true.

All I wanted was an old hanging electrified gas lighting fixture or reproduction of such, for the ceiling of my 100 year old Richmond home’s new kitchen. I found tons of just that on line but with prices that sometimes exceeded more than my new kitchen! I was horrified with what I saw at high end lighting stores. Cheap this, thin that, plated scrap metal and more plastic than could be found at your local Tupperware party.

I looked at every page and every category of fixtures listed on CLF's web site. I could not believe all the different ways you could chose to "Build you own Fixture” not to mention the quality of parts and glass being used.

Want a 2 arm fixture? No problem. Want a 6 arm fixture? Even better!

The thing that sold me over all the other place’s I found, was the choice of metal colors and finishes and of course thousands of possible configuration options. I had decided to put a tin ceiling in my kitchen & I had chosen a pewter finish. Try as I might I could not find a pewter fixture to my liking. I had even considering not using the tin because I could not find a complementing light fixture. But hey, I could make ANY fixture on this site in a pewter finish!!!

After many days of printing pictures of the fixtures off of CLF's well designed web site, laying them all out on my dinning room table, checking into the history of the company I was about to send my hard earned money to, I had FINALLY made my choice!!!

I called the phone number and spoke with Seth, the owner of the company. He was very helpful, answered all my questions, and after about an hour I had made my choice of fixture and the color, pewter with several brass components as highlights. The next day I had changed my mind. I added a 5th arm to my 4 arm fixture and I changed the color of the globes.

Seth was more than happy to accommodate my wishes. Any time I had a question or concern he was always there to answer them and he would return my calls the same day.

My light was finally ready to be built!!

When I received my light it was very well packaged and was more than I had expected!!!!!!!!!!! The pictures of the fixtures, as clear as they are, did not do the fixtures justice. The globes for my fixture were larger I thought and more beautiful than I would have ever expected. Everything was made from SOLID BRASS and I don’t mean thin plated stuff. The light sockets were actually CERAMIC, something I saw very little of in my search for the perfect light.

I had later found out that Seth had taken a picture of my 5 arm / 10 light chandelier and posted it on his site as a new option choice (C44), which was to me a great compliment of my choice and use of colors and arm configuration, all with the help of the owner Seth.

The time Seth and I had put into designing this fixture was really crazy, but hey, it was exactly what I wanted and I was not about to compromise on my light.

I want to give a big fat “high five” to Seth and the artisans he uses to build these masterpieces.

I will love my light always!!!
